In all 600 series subwoofers, the bass diaphragms are made of a rough, fine blend of paper, Kevlar fibers and resin, which provides the rigidity needed to withstand the enormous physical forces exerted by the voice coil and the pressures inside the speaker. Distortion is minimized, bass accuracy, power and enjoyment are maximized.
